A great day out for my 80th birthday .

Shard wonderful ,very well organised . Restaurant good ,but a shame that there were so many extra charges over and above our set 3 course meal .

Not to standard

I paid up front for photos. When looking at the pics most of the pics had the rear view mirror covering the face. And the ones where the face was not covered you could hardly see it was me. My opinion photos would have been better on the drivers side of the track. I said on the day the photos were not worth the money paid but had to choose 3 so it was only of the cars better angle.

Cornish delight

Our host,Andrew, was attentive to our visit throughout. Well presented beginning with a glass of bubbly followed by homemade scone and jam supported with Cornish clotted cream - a beautiful combination. well done,sir. Tea was excellent in testing overhead conditions but an overall excellent experience.

Great day. Drove the 66 Mustang and the AMG SL. Both V8’s one, a blast from the past and the other, bang up to date! I actually preferred the classic Mustang.

Steam Trip

We had a lovely trip on the Nene Valley Railway, a Christmas gift from family. Staff were lovely - friendly & helpful and knowledgable about the area. We travelled through lovely countryside to Peterborough, had an amble round the town & visited the cathedral, then our return trip. A most enjoyable day out.

De Luxe afternoon tea for two

We had a very nice afternoon tea at the George Hotel,Wallingford. We did think that the food was basic and the sandwiches could have been better.The young lad who served us was very sweet.
