Luxury steam train

We travelled quite some distance to ride on the steam train. It was OK. The carriage was very comfortable. A nearby town had festival going on so that added to the experience overall.

This was an amazing afternoon tea, the staff were friendly and the food was lovely - fat to much to eat in one go, but we were given a doggy bag Our table had board games on it which we really enjoyed playing whilst we were nibbling I would thoroughly recommend this venue

This was bought as a Christmas gift and was advertised as a 'steam train experience and afternoon tea'. We fully expected the afternoon tea to be served on the train itself, but this is not the case. Instead, you have to book and travel to an entirely separate location for the tea. To make matters worse,some of the locations originally advertised are not even available to choose from. Very misleading and disappointing.

This day out was bought for me by my wife as a Christmas present and for my 2 year anniversary of stem cell transplant. All I can say is, it was definitely worth the money and the effort to get there. The day was excellent, the instructors could not have been better, with excellent tuition and feedback. All in all I would recommend this to all of my friends and family and will let my Veterans community know of this great expoerience

Excellent instructors crowded track

Both cars were 4 litres and fast. Reached excellent and detailed instructions on how to drive them fast on the corners. Very busy venue so lots of cars on the track meant congestion queue on one lap and having to give way to the 2 fast lap cars took the edge of 1 lap of the 3

Japanese afternoon tea

I was gifted this experience for my birthday so did not know what to expect. The setting of the tea was in the bar area of the hotel where they played the same very loud music on a loop along with advertising the films they would be showing on a screen. This was all very distracting and lessened the enjoyment of the experience. The food provided was very tasty and nicely presented which we very much enjoyed.
