This makes the perfect gift for Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, Retirement, Achievements or simply a fantastic gift for a red wine lover.

This vintage Bordeaux red originates from an excellent château, owned by the Fabre family, situated between Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe in the prestigious Haut-Medoc. The blend is typical for the region usually 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Traditionally vinified and aged in oak baroques, 20% of which are new. Fine, aromatic, with a ripe cherries character enlivened by liquorice and vanilla.

Presented in a beautiful satin lined black gift box this bottle of top shelf vintage Bordeaux wine is paired with an original British newspaper from any chosen date to create a luxurious and thoughtful gift. Your original newspaper is sourced from Britain's largest archive of National papers, the dates of which go back to the 1900s. Give your wine connoisseur a history lesson with their drink, allowing them a window to the past.

Whether this is for an anniversary, where they can view the news from their wedding date; or the original paper from the day they were born; the recipient of this premium gift can reminisce with a fine drink of quality red wine.

The wine should be stored horizontally in a cool environment with the wine in contact with the cork to prevent shrinkage. Before drinking, the wine should be decanted and left to breath for 30 minutes.

All papers sent will be an original & complete London Times from the date you select, if The Times is not available we will supply an alternative national newspaper of equivalent quality.

Sunday Papers and Key Event Papers are rare and although we will only send a national broadsheet, it is unlikely to be the Sunday Times. Please note a £20 - £25 surcharge for sunday and key event papers will apply.
