As a rule, I don't buy 'personal' gifts for my wife because of the many previous disasters. And, after 35 years of blissed togetherness, lingerie, perfume & chocs don't really cut it anymore. So I am overjoyed to report that she fairly swooned over the (nicely be-ribboned) heart-shaped board, and deemed it far too precious for onion chopping. It now holds a pride of place in our bedroom.
