What a wash out!

I chose this tea towel as a 2nd, therefore cotton, Anniversary gift for my son and daughter-in-law. As you are aware, my chosen names are there. However, I am extremely disappointed in the finish. The large piece of cotton I assume is placed underneath in the process of embroidery is still in situ! It has spoiled the finish and look of the item and has actually deemed it not fit for purpose! I was embarrassed to gift this item. I await your requested prompt reply.
Why did you choose this product? Anniversary gift for my Child
