Meerkats are fun, adorable furry friends that have recently become favoured all over the world. Get up close and personal with them in the Meerkat Encounter for Two. Learn about their inquisitive nature and see their complex social behaviours. Check out their unique personalities and spend some time just hanging out with these cute, cuddly animals.

When you arrive, you'll head straight to the meerkat enclosure, where the zookeepers will share some information about what to expect and they will answer any questions you may have. They will bring out the meerkats so you can play, and they will provide you with food so that you can hand-feed them. Bring a camera so you can remember these moments forever.

We got to sit in the enclosure with them while we fed them and played with them.

What did you get up to? Visiting the meerkats was great. We got to sit in the enclosure with them while we fed them and played with them. I was amazed at how friendly they were! I was also surprised at how spacious and clean the enclosure was. There's plenty of things in there to entertain them and keep them happy and active. After a while chilling with them, all their unique, playful personalities came through! When our time in the meerkat enclosure was over, we were able to hold other reptiles, including a snake. What did you enjoy the most? The staff were also really friendly, helpful and gave us plenty of background information about each meerkat.

Make sure you explore the whole centre and visit all of the other animals before you leave as this is included within the voucher package.
