Hi I just had to say thanks for organising the DJ course. Gem had a fantastic day and Pavlos was the best teacher. The beginners DJ course was SO good. My tutor was Leanne and she was brilliant at explaining everything, as well as being so friendly and patient. I didn’t expect to achieve much in my first class, but by the end I was mixing tracks together with confidence and have totally caught the buzz! I can’t wait for my next class and to keep learning more

I had a beginners session with JW Academy recently and it was a great experience. Jaynee was extremely helpful from the start and everyone at the academy was very helpful and easy going which made the experience a whole lot better! My tutor was G-Starr who was really good at explaining the basics of what it takes to become a fully fledged DJ. G-Starr was also very friendly and made me feel at ease from the start! It was also good to be able to play on a large sound system at Be At One in Liverpool St. From having minimal experience in mixing songs, by the end of the session I was able to get to grips with the art of mixing and managed to mix several tracks together in the space of 3 hours. I'd highly recommend this session to any budding DJ out there.

I had a private intermediate DJ lesson with one of the academy’s killer tutors, Ashley. The owner, Jaynee was super helpful in terms of recommending the right course, after initially being bought the beginners experience by a friend for my birthday. Jaynee took the time to understand my existing skill level and made recommendations on the right course and tutor based on the type of music that I mix. Super seamless, supportive and judgment free experience. I felt relaxed and able to ask as many questions as needed - Ashley and I covered both theory and practical elements, which I found incredibly helpful in preparing for my first gig, which was that weekend.
