Your adventure begins at Windsor & Eton Riverside station, where you’ll hop onto your comfy set of wheels. Each bike comes with a leather saddle, easy handlebars, and a charming bell (plus an optional basket – ideal for your coat, camera, or cheeky picnic snack). With simple single gears and wonderfully flat routes, this gentle cycle is designed for relaxed cruising – no Lycra required!

The 8-mile (13km) journey takes you along traffic-free lanes and riverside bike tracks, with plenty of opportunities to stop for photos. Highlights include pausing in the walled gardens of a Tudor mansion (why not treat yourself to an afternoon tea?), cycling past the Olympic rowing lake, and soaking up picture-perfect views of Windsor Castle. The final stretch takes you down to Eton College, the historic school that educated 19 British Prime Ministers – talk about a history lesson on the move!

The tour finishes right in the heart of Windsor, just steps away from the castle, boutique shops, cosy pubs, and train links back to London. Whether you’re a history buff, a casual cyclist, or just love a royal photo-op, this Windsor bike tour is guaranteed to be a royally good day out.

• This experience is available Thursday and Saturday, March to October.
• This experience will last approximately 3 hours.
• This experience is for two people. There will be a maximum of 12 other people on the day.
• Unfortunately, this experience is not suitable for spectators.
• The minimum age for this experience is 18 years old.
• All riders must be over 5ft (1.5m).
• You will need to be able to ride a bike confidently over 8 miles.
