Discover the world of vineyards and winemaking in the UK with a fantastic tour that will show you exactly how your favourite wines are made. This Vineyard Experience with Lunch will take you and a friend deep into the delicate process of winemaking, teaching you how a wine master brings about the fruity, dry, or sweet mixes you experience when drinking your glass.
You'll get some amazing information on how vines can be grown on a commercial scale, and you'll learn about the history of winemaking in England. You'll also learn a bit about the estate you're on, and how it came to be a commercial vineyard.
This tour includes the winery itself and allows you to taste some wines from select tanks and enjoy some vintage samplings. After your tour, you can enjoy a delectable lunch, and at some locations, be provided with a complimentary bottle of wine.

Top Tip
1. Make sure, if travelling by train, to pre-book a return taxi from either Battle or Robertsbridge train stations. The rural location may make Ubers slightly difficult to order on arrival! 2. Take time to browse the shop after the tour and lunch – there is a wide selection of wines and gifts which make a great present.

We had such a wonderful time on the wine tasting. The lady was very knowledgeable, warm and accommodating. The service was amazing and all the staff were very friendly. The lunch was amazing, but the menu may need a bit of improvement.

My daughter and I celebrated my birthday at this lovely Estate. The owner gave us an entertaining, informative tour before a delicious tasting of 3 different wines with an excellent cheese board lunch featuring local produce. Thankful that we took sunhat a etc as there was no shade in the vineyard section of the tour!

Absolute disappoint, was promised a wine tour and lunch, we got to sit in a old shack, presented with tupperware box with crackers, cheese and ham. Talked at the whole time from owner moaning about everyting, whilst his dog just sat there scrounging. We did buy some wine as we thought it tasted pleasant but after 5 tasters in the same glass god knows if we chose the right one. Activity store should remove this venue, I just wish I had read previous comments and the very rude response by the owner

Although it was a cold windy day we really enjoyed our tour and learnt so much about the viticulture. The wine tasting was also fun and for our lunch they very kindly bought in some quality ham as I am not a cheese lover. Everyone on the tour seemed very impressed with the lunch provided and I think we all bought wine to take home.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival and enjoyed our tour The lunch which was fresh and deliciou (dietary needs were taken into account). Martin was the perfect guide, great sense of humour, very knowledgeable, and imparted interesting facts about wine and winemaking, and conveyed the origins of the vineyard. The wines we tasted, just before lunch were of the highest quality. Highly recommended.

Very informative, full explanation, along with interesting, sometimes amusing stories. Shown around vineyard, shown and explained how the equipment was used. Good measures for the tastings of 5 wines. Then a full glass of wine served with a beautiful lunch
