Quaint village, older worlde house, part of the estate. Rooms large, we'll furnished and clean. Andy our host was excellent, nothing too much trouble and produced a first class breakfast. An earlier check time would have been appreciated.

This was given to us as a gift from our son. We enjoyed the quietness at the hotel, nice for relaxing The room was lovely meals were great , would recommend this hotel They have a gift shop , where people can also buy essentials like shower gel, shampoo etc

This was a lovely venue. Clean, cosy and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The food was unpretentious and delicious. We will definately return.

Double room, not a double bed, 2 singles pushed together, mattress was rock hard, woke with the worst back pain, vegetarian options were poor on evening meal, very poor experience

So I'm giving this team a 5* rating even though so far wow have not stayed with them as we had to cancel at the very, very last minute. They could quite legitimately have told us we had lost the night's stay as it was too late. They did not. They have allowed us to re-book at no cost to us, which I think is a fantastic gesture hence giving them 5* regardless of what our future stay will actually be like!
