I had a voucher bought me for Christmas, to ride on a steam train. Unfortunately when I booked in,I was told that it was a deisel not a steam. I was then told I could use it at another time. I decided to go on that day, has I'd booked a meal after. Although disappointed I did enjoy the ride. I was a bit disappointed on the cleanliness of the train which wasn't that great. There's still a lot of work being done, but I suppose being that it's volunteers that work there, I didn't expect it being too great. Other than that I did enjoy the day.

Due to the heritage nature of the steam train, there are occasions where it has to be replaced at short notice with a diesel engine. We'll share your comments regarding cleanliness with the supplier for improvement. We’re sorry for the disappointment, but we're glad you still enjoyed the ride and had a great day overall.
