Let us introduce you to the Sip and Paint workshop!

Looking for a creative night out? …look no further! The Sip and Paint workshops are the perfect recipe for a night filled with creativity and laughter. You and your favourite person, a resident artist, a lively bar or pub, and the opportunity to sip on some liquid inspiration while unleashing your inner Picasso!

Now, you might be thinking, "I can't even draw stick figures," but fear not! These sessions are open to everyone, regardless of your artistic journey so far. Our talented artist will lead the way, setting up a beautiful masterpiece at the front of the room for you to replicate. They'll provide step-by-step instructions that are so easy, even a penguin with a paintbrush could follow along.

In just two hours, you'll go from a blank canvas to a unique masterpiece ready to adorn your walls. And the best part? We've got all the gear covered! Canvas, easel, paints, pallet, brushes, paint pots, and even an apron to protect your stylish outfit – it's all included. The only thing not on the house is the food and drinks, but don't fret! The venue's always have a great selection of food and drink on offer, should you wish to get involved.

So, what are you waiting for? Join us for a sip, a stroke (of a paint brush!!) and a whole lot of fun!

Experience Day Review My daughter and I decided to visit the Ship Inn in East Grinstead to paint a donkey portrait for our Sip & Paint experience evening. We were met by Helen, our artist, and 10 other willing ‘have a go’ artists on a lovely sunny evening in June. We were provided with good quality paints and a canvas to paint our masterpieces onto. We had a good range of paint colours to experiment with too. Helen gave us short instructions throughout the evening and off we went! We continued to build up our picture during the 2 hours until we had finished our paintings and were happy with them. We were then invited to have a group photo with us all holding our finished work.

Top Tip

1. Be prepared to travel to your chosen destination. 2. It is fun to find your inner artistic talents, which you may not have used since you were at school! Don’t be afraid to have a go! 3. Take a good friend or relative to paint with you.

    Really enjoyed the experience and it was a gift. We were expecting a drink as it said sip and paint. We were told sorry you need to pay for drinks. Personally I don’t think I would have a other go

    Being someone who couldn't paint a brick I was a bit apprehensive. The venue was a bit tight which made movement between tables a tad tough. The pictures came out great despite all the worries. Would have liked a bit more 1 on 1 reassurance.

    Great event. Fun and educational. Friendly course leader. Brilliant night. The organisation by Activity Superstore was appalling. Huge gaps in communication, complicated process, emails ignored. Would never use the Activity Superstore again but would definitely do a similar event.

    My husband and I both enjoyed this experience. A bit stressful at times but that's only because we wanted to do a good job! Made all the better by the artist and other fellow painters. Would do this again.
