Soar Above Shropshire – A Thrilling 30-Minute Helicopter Adventure!
Take to the skies and experience the Shropshire countryside like never before with a 30-minute helicopter pleasure flight that perfectly blends adrenaline with breathtaking scenery. This is the ultimate adventure for anyone who loves spectacular views and a touch of thrill!
On arrival, you’ll be greeted by Whizzard Helicopters’ expert flight crew for a safety briefing before being securely strapped into your seat. Then it’s time for lift-off from Welshpool as your helicopter begins its scenic journey. Follow the winding River Severn, Britain’s longest river, as it snakes north and watch the Shropshire plains stretch out beneath you.
As you soar further, enjoy panoramic vistas of rolling Welsh hills to your left, the Midlands and Cannock Chase to the east, and, on a clear day, spot the Pennines and Liverpool shimmering in the distance. Loop around the iconic Rodney’s Pillar, swing past the historic RAF Montford Bridge, and take in the intricate Shuts and Passages of the town below—a maze of narrow alleys steeped in history.
Marvel at the Shropshire Hills, Powys Castle, and the stunning Severn Valley from above before your flight gently lands back at Welshpool. Don’t forget your camera—this is a ride worth capturing and sharing with friends and family!
