Lovely afternoon tea . Plenty to eat . Only criticism is the waiting staff were not visible so we were unable to get tea replenished and as we had a pimms afternoon tea we wanted wanted to order more drink which took ages . However the drink prices for a London hotel was excellent

Given the fact that I know how much this experience costs, I would say that it felt somewhat underwhelming. The food was good, but not plentiful and the pimms, detailed in the title of the experience, was nought more than a shot glass full of vaguely alcoholic strawberry juice accompanying the rest of the food. The staff were pleasant initially but we were completely ignored after we’d been given our food and drinks. The setting in the hotel restaurant was agreeable enough. Overall, not a bad experience at all, but nothing i would write home about.

My husband booked afternoon tea for my mother and I in November 2018 we had such a lovely time the food was great and the staff were very polite and accommodating as I also brought along my 6months old baby.

Very poor in every way .... so disappointing having travelled for two hours to the Hotel. Facilities cramped and felt like a production line rather than a gift experience. Tables and chairs seen better days and no pleasant views surroundings. Altogether a great disappointment

Well presented and good choice on the sweet trays. Sandwiches could have been more interesting, but overall everything tasted nice. The setting is nice - we sat near the window, so it was bright and airy. Waiters were attentative

It was a wet day and the hotel had nowhere to put wet coats or umbrellas. The staff were very good. Sandwiches were disappointing and the scones were hard and dry.

Tea itself was pleasant but not exceptional. The environment was a bit clinical in a bright dining room area adjacent to the bar counter and the service was efficient but not particularly welcoming.

I bought a puma afternoon tea. Upon booking it, I was told there was a special offer on and as my voucher was for £69, I assumed that I would get compensated in some way-ie, maybe and extra drink each free. Upon asking I was told that the voucher was for the Pima afternoon tea and nothing else. If I had paid cash for the afternoon tea, then I would have been £19 better off! Why, because it’s a voucher can the hotel claim all the money as the its inconsequential the cost of the afternoon tea? When the afternoon tea arrived, the sandwiches were very poor. The beef was wafer thin and didn’t taste of anything and the cucumber sandwich appeared to be a cheap, thoughtless filling. The eclair had very little flavour and the fruit tart tasted like the custard had come from a packet. All in all, poor value for money.
