One Night with Dinner for Two at Shendish Manor Hotel

Room, very basic, not even a bottle of water, overlooked the storage area at the back of the hotel. Restaurant First choice starter unavailable, the the prawn cocktail had to be sent back to the kitchen, had forgotten to add the Marie Rose sauce, then the Thai green curry for main came without the curry sauce. Complimentary drink given. Extremely disappointing. Breakfast was OK but cold, the plates also were stone cold.

My husband and I recently enjoyed the “One Night with Dinner and Breakfast for Two” package at Shendish Manor, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel is set in stunning grounds, offering a beautiful, peaceful retreat from everyday life. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by the friendly staff, who made us feel instantly at home. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Dinner in the Orangery restaurant was a highlight of the evening. The menu offered a great selection, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive, making it a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. After a restful night’s sleep in the super-comfy bed, we woke up to a delightful breakfast. The buffet had everything from cooked options to pastries, fresh fruit, and more – it catered to all tastes. Overall, our stay at Shendish Manor was fantastic, and we couldn’t fault a single thing. It’s the perfect destination for a romantic getaway or simply a night to unwind in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!
