Just like the TV show of the same title, this One Man and His Dog experience provides the perfect opportunity to experience first-hand what it takes to herd a flock of rogue sheep with a trusted sheep dog in a stunning and picturesque location in West Yorkshire.
Following tea and coffee upon arrival your day will begin with a short talk on the dogs so you understand their natural instincts and then you'll be introduced to the dogs themselves. The morning will be spent learning the dogs' 'language' in a training ring, working 2 or 3 different dogs.
In the afternoon, you will be learning to work dogs loose in the field and finish moving a small flock of sheep around the field and completing a small course.
The sense of achievement you'll feel when you've finally got all the sheep in the pen will leave you feeling like a real shepherd.
