It was very insightful to hear about different techniques used in recording music.
What did you get up to?
I thoroughly enjoyed my Platinum Recording Studio Experience at Soundmagic Studios. Steve, the owner of the recording studio was incredibly professional and friendly throughout my experience. Singing is my passion so this was the perfect experience for me, as I got to record 6 of my favourite songs, which we edited and added effects to. It was very insightful to hear about different techniques used in recording music. I got to walk away with my own personalised CD, for which I could choose the title and images for, along with my own certificate which made this experience extra special. It really feels like I have my own mini album which I’ve always dreamed about! I also paid extra for a black personalised presentation plaque which was definitely worth it and a really special way to commemorate this wonderful experience. I’d definitely recommend to anyone if they want a taste of the recording studio life, whatever genre of music they like to sing.
What did you enjoy the most?
Taking home my own personalised CD which I can keep as a reminder of my incredible experience!

1. Sing the songs you enjoy the most 2. Drink plenty of water as singing for the best part of 4 hours can be thoroughly enjoyable but also challenging!
