Increasingly, we’re needing to find ways to re-connect with the world around us and the other beautiful creatures that inhabit it. The merry-go-round of life and the ongoing news reels can leave us tense and anxious, so we’re finding new, imaginative and relaxing ways to step away for a while and calm ourselves mentally and physically.
One of these inventive ways to do that, is to spend time regulating our emotions and practicing mindfulness with horses. It may sound unusual, but actually horses run on a very similar emotional communicative way to us, meaning that our emotions are felt by horses, meaning that we can all be calm and relaxed together.

Sometimes the horses can even fall asleep, if they get super-relaxed with you and your calming influence. This really is a lovely way to interact with beautiful animals, and shows us that we’re all more connected than we really consider.
