Fly through the air with a feeling of joy and excitement and see the sights from above with this Helicopter Experience for Two. Soar around the countryside with your significant other, your friend, or even your child. See fields and forests and skyscrapers as you swiftly fly around in an area of your choosing. Experience the sights of the UK from a different perspective and experience a daring, fun flight that you never even imagined.

At the venue, you'll be briefed by the helicopter team. Once safely in the copter, you'll soar to heights of 1,000 feet above the ground, at 120 mph to take in the sights. Swoop over the landscapes and experience the joy of flying.

  • Available on select dates during the year.
  • Time: Approximately 40 minutes at the location; about 5 minutes flight time.
  • Ages 12 and older recommended.
  • Maximum weight is 30st for 2 people.
  • There will be up to two additional people on the helicopter.
  • Not advisable for those who suffer from epilepsy, have a medical or heart condition, or are pregnant
  • Family and friends are encouraged to come and watch.
  • This excursion is weather dependant.

About this experience
  • Availability: This activity is available on selected dates, from March to October. You must take the experience prior to the expiry date.
  • Duration: The flight lasts for approximately 5 minutes. You will be at the venue for approximately 40 minutes.
  • Group Size: This experience is for two people. You will share your flight with up to five other people.
  • Minimum Age: The minimum age for this experience is 12 years old.
  • Fitness: The max weight is 15st (95kg) per person, or combined weight of 30st (190kg). Please be advised the experience may not be suitable for those who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, or who have heart or medical conditions. If in doubt consult your doctor.
  • Spectator Information: You are welcome to bring friends and family with you.
  • Weather Dependant: This activity is dependent on appropriate weather conditions.

What did you get up to? I arrived at Fairoaks Airport to take part in the Helicopter buzz, this was easy to find using the information provided upon booking. I was greeted by one of the experience providers and checked in, this was also very easy to do! Once it was time for my flight, a safety briefing was given which put everyone at ease. Before entering the helicopter, a professional photographer was on hand to take photos if we were wanting to purchase these after. I was then escorted into the helicopter, and within minutes was airborne! The views were spectacular and the charming pilot would point out landmarks so you could get the best possible photos! After the breath-taking flight, I was given the option to purchase the previously mentioned photos, we were also advised that all proceeds for this also went to charity. What did you enjoy the most? Having the experience of a life time!

Top Tip

Try out the café on site this is lovely! Take cash for the photos. Wear warm clothes if experience is taken in winter

    Long wait to have the flight. Flight times 11:30 took off 1:30 for 5 mins in air. Saw one place of interest and fields.

    I had a buzz experience bought for me by my children. My wife was wanting to join me so I paid for her to be able to accompany me. On the day I upgraded our flight at a cost of an additional £30 each for a longer thrill seeker flight. We did not seem to be in the air that long as I recorded the flight on my phone which only equated to just over 6 minutes, I am wondering what I would have received on my initial Buzz flight. I feel my wife and I did not get any extra for the additional money we paid for our upgrade.

    I had doubts about this - that is until I arrived. The ground staff were supportive, kind and lovely and very instructing on how to proceed. Then I got aboard the chopper and WOW!! What an experience! YEAH!!! It was great fun! A thorough reccommend!! It made my day and is one of the best Sundays I ever had!!! YEAH!!! YEAH!!! YAY!!! Brilliant!!!
