This taster roasting session is designed for anyone with an interest in roasting coffee. You will learn about the process coffee goes through from the seed to the cup. Roasting coffee is a precise yet rewarding process. You will learn the fundamentals of roasting coffee, whilst the experts help you understand the process coffee goes through from farming, production through to roasting and the end product.
On this two-hour course you will learn the key factors of coffee production. This journey will take you from the growth of the green bean and discovering the flavours from different regions, as well as gaining an understanding of the roasting process. You will perform a sample roast and learn the importance of packaging and storing your coffee.
At the end of your session you will package your coffee to take home and enjoy.
