When you have the need for speed, this Ariel Atom Driving Experience is exactly what you're looking for. Developed as a university project, it can do 0-60 mph in only 2.89 seconds — faster than many Ferrari!
The unique car has some distinctive characteristics, including the lack of body panels, which allows you to see the suspension working as you drive. The car has impressive credentials and unique engineering. Driving this car is a fantastic experience for any speedster.
The activity includes a short briefing that will answer your questions about the car and its controls. Then it's time to drive and see exactly what the Ariel Atom can do. For many, the limit will be their own skill and nerves, not the car's abilities! You'll drive between 4 and 6 miles, and then a professional race driver will take you for a spin in one of the following cars: BMW M3 or sports saloon, Ford Focus RS, or Vauxhall VXR8.
Please note, there will be a supplement fee if you choose to visit a premium venue.

The Ariel atom was as good as it always is. The track team were well organised and kept the queue moving well. There were plenty of opportunities to upgrade the experience, but there was no pressure to add to the cost of the day. Thank you for a brilliant day out.

The staff at the venue were all pleasant & did their best but the venue was so busy which meant constant waiting (and for long periods). Waiting before you got in, waiting to check in, waiting for your sighting lap, waiting (a lot of) for the experience, waiting for the high speed lap .................. in fact there was so much waiting that eventually we gave up & didn't queue for the high speed lap and didn't get our photo's (as there was yet another huge queue). The idea is great but we won't be going again until the service becomes much more efficient.

Upsell, upsell, upsell. From the moment we arrived we had to pay £5 to park. Then put under pressure to pay £29 for insurance or face £5000 bill for repairs, which definitely wasn't needed as didn't get over 50mph due to being forced to stay in 5th gear and to many slower cars on track. Also had to pay £10 to do fast lap in actual car booked not a slower one. We did not experience what the car was capable of. Would not recommend this.

I had a blast in the atom. The high speed car ride wasn’t the best, I go faster up the bypass I’m my own car 😂😂😂. The queue to get in was I bit of a nightmare but it was dry so no dramas.

Whilst it was good experiance, to drive a ariel atom on a wide open space, the track ( a former W.W.2 airfield), the surface was rough as rats so at speed, difficult to see where your going because of the vibration & bumpiness.

Turned up filled out forms payed for damage cover and photopackage totaling £80 waited in line and was told I was forgotten about whilst everyone else had their go they eventually got this sorted I then got on the ariel atom to which I'm told I'm not allowed to change gear that I can only cruise round in 5th gear this totally takes away from the driving experience it's advertised as an ariel atom driving experience and I couldn't even change gear

The car didn’t have all working gears so was told to keep in one gear ,instructor was very uninterested . The description for circuit length didn’t match so it was over with very quickly .when I questioned something at signing on the member of staff got short with my wife .I enjoyed the drive to a point but came away dissspointed considering I’d drove 2.5 hours for it
