Lunchtime visit to Norwich for a post Christmas treat. Not quite sure what to expect from this afternoon tea, and we were both delighted with the menu. Served by welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Food was great, all tasty and perfectly cooked. Favourites were the mini enchiladas, the mini crispy potatos, egg custards and cheesecake. Offer included a cocktail or mococktail. We had two coffees to finish at a very reasonable £3 each. All in all an excellent take on afternnon tea. Thank you

The food was very little for how much it cost. We had 1 tiny taco each. 2 croquette potato’s and 1 corn on the cob cut into quarters. The dessert was better but the chirro tasted like fish as I think they have been cooked in the same oil as fish they serve. It’s was an afternoon tea without any tea so shouldn’t be advertised at this.

Then food was very nice but 1 there was not enough and we had to order two other dishes to share and the deserts was brought out with the food wich was a shame as the cheroes was stone cold and gone hard by the time we come to eat them aswell as the egg tart both should be warm so we didnt eat them. The main dishes was nice just very small amount of food.

On a positive note, the venue was ok and the staff were friendly and efficient. Regrettably, in our opinion, the food was very average and not great value. A particular gripe was the fact that a cocktail/fizz drink couldn’t be exchanged for a Diet Coke. I know this was in the t&cs but I would ask “why”? The cocktail my wife had was priced at £11 (and part of our gift package) whereas my coke was £3.50 and charged in addition.

On arrival for afternoon tea with fizz was told it didn’t include drinks till I produced the voucher not a good start. Food arrived promptly average at best chicken skewers dry and hot food only warm. Desserts arrived at same time so again were cold by the time we had had our warm mains. Would I eat here again no was it worth the voucher price not really but it was a gift.
