Overall, the venue was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly!

What did your experience entail? My partner and I booked at Revolution in Ipswich. We were running late due to traffic, so I called the venue and they were more than accommodating to keep our table reserved for us. Upon our arrival, we were shown to our booth which was by the window - and it was more than enough space for the two of us! We were first served our delicious hot chocolates with cream whilst we waited for our food to be prepared. A short while after, the food was served! We received mini burgers, chicken strips, jalapeno poppers along with cheesy bacon fries and some sauces. For dessert we had mini cheesecakes, mini brownies and a waffle with ice cream, strawberries, and caramel sauce. Our favourites were the mini burgers, then the waffle - both were yummy! Overall, the venue was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. All we had to do at the end of our tea was present the voucher to the bar and pay for any additional drinks we purchased. What did you enjoy the most? I enjoyed that it was a different twist on your usual afternoon tea, having hot food instead of standard sandwiches along with a tasty range of desserts. Even a shot each was presented on the dessert board!

Top Tip

1. Go on a weekend if you are wanting a livelier atmosphere and to continue the fun afterwards! 2. Ensure you have an empty stomach before going, the food fills you up more than you think.

    There was a promblem with booking and it taken 2h to find the booking waiting around for 2h to find the booking . Staff had been fantastic and able to sort it out, the food was good but the desert could been made better.

    After alot of faffing with available dates (they've reduced hours so not many available) we finally enjoyed the experience. The table was booked, the food came out pretty quickly and presented well. It was a decent variety of food and all tasted good. It's not your usual afternoon tea, fried chicken, mini burgers, potato croquets etc. but a good section and the deserts were lovely. Overall we both enjoyed it.

    Enjoyed this experience, easy to book and confirm, nice bar, lovely staff My only issue was value for money, the food was very sparse, per person it was terrible actually, you were served a platter for two people with one tiny mini burger, one chicken tender along with one small ball of macaroni cheese and literally a tiny dish of potatoes between two people (in a mini dish) A couple of tiny pieces of cake and a really hard piece of waffle with ice cream was served as a dessert There were four of us so it was an experience that cost £118 which was £59 per couple, the food offering should have been better for that price On the plus side the fizz was very good and the service was good too but the food needs to be reviewed it was not good value for money at all
