Afternoon Tea for Two - UK Wide

Very poor value for money. Would have been cheaper by booking direct with the venue. Over priced.

Avoid this place at all costs. I pre-ordered a gluten free tea and was given cakes from tescos and even a rice cake!

Food was lovely & very nice setting The service was excellent.

Was given as a birthday present. Very few locations in Hampshire. Ended up with a tea room with views of the road next to tesco express. Have had afternoon tea in much grander locations for less money.

This was a gift from a good friend. Throughly enjoyable. A good idea for a present for the older generation.

This was a gift. We went to Kingston Lodge. Not great. Tea really weak had to ask for a fresh pot with two tea bags! The selection was mediocre. It felt as if they weren't ready for us. Wouldn't recommend as poor value and made worse as it was a gift to us.

I bought this as a birthday present for my hubby for £34.00. We booked for a Friday at Colwick Hall in Nottingham. On arrival we were left to wait whilst the receptionist talked to someone on the phone. We were not acknowledged for over 5 minutes which was a surprise as we were the only ones in reception. We were finally shown to the restaurant where we were the only people there. The food was ok but nothing to shout about. The most disappointing thing about the whole afternoon tea was the fact that they were advertising 'Afternoon Tea for 2 £20' and I had paid £34. I would not buy another one of these and would also not recommend to others.

I was given this experience as a Christmas present. I had an amazing time with my husband. The staff were very nice and the afternoon tea was delicious.

This was a given as a present to me and I nearly didn't get to use it, so glad I did. The booking was very easy and straightforward with acknowledgement fairly swiftly, so you don't need to worry as to the procedure as with so many online bookings. The actual experience was great, very nice venue and very welcoming. Big choice of teas, surprising how many I had never heard of, the sandwiches were delicious and as for the cakes, well my waistline is still paying the price.

Unbelievable minute quantities for 2 people. The sandwich selection comprised of being asked what filling one required and when they arrived we were shocked to see one small cob each, instead of a full round of sandwiches each. There was one scone between two and we had to ask for jam. We also had to ask for plates. The sweet selection was slightly more substantial if not crudely displayed. We will not return.
