A very traditional rather stuffy place to eat. Not really our sort of place. We weren't terribly impressed by the food but staff were wonderful. We thought we were going to be eating up the Shard so we were disappointed when we realised it was at Spitalfields! The Shard was fun. We did the evening slot at 8pm & the view was amazing. I got rather nauseaous from the saying of the building but my partner loved it!

The venue was tucked away in an unexpected area, once found we were greeted with a very warm welcome. Inside was traditional decor, staff were really friendly, welcome cocktails were nice and food was delicious.

The food here is very nice but I was bought it as part of an Experience and hadn't realised what wasn't included. Most things had to have a supplement payment added on, all sides were additional. Water for the table was £13 so our bill was just short of £100. Can't fault the service or the food though so recommend the restaurant

Shard wonderful ,very well organised . Restaurant good ,but a shame that there were so many extra charges over and above our set 3 course meal .

I had booked The London Steakhouse for my husband's birthday. I had to pay £10 each just to book the table as it was a Friday night. The meal itself was just OK and quite disappointing. We had to pay extra for sides which ended up being £17 for 2 x very small sides of red cabbage! We had a voucher for a 3 course meal with cocktail, but still spent £98 booking the table, a carafe of wine and 2 side dishes. I don't mind paying out if it's worth it but sadly this restaurant did not live up to my expectations.

We were seated very late our bookin was 4.15 we were seated at 5pm we had a booking for the shard for 6.30 so we did not enjoy our 3 course meal we had the started and main and had to leave the dessert when sayin to the staff we have another booking which was for the shard which they had booked for us they did not really respond. I travelled from Birmingham to enjoy this experience for my birthday and did not even recieve the full voucher

The venue was ok, but many supplement were to added if you wanted to make the most of this voucher. The whole thing was very misleading.

This was a gift package for my husband's special birthday. The Shard experience was well organised and enjoyable. The staff were happy and helpful. The restaurant experience @ London Steakhouse means we will go back independently! The welcome, the service, the food and the drink was all a pleasure and the fact that we were there on a package had no bearing on any of that. We were treated well and the menu for the package was clear and with good options. My husband is a coeliac and they were excellent with the young waiter knowing everything he needed to and guiding appropriately. We had a great time.
