On arrival at the track you will receive a briefing from a fully qualified ARDS driving instructor. You will then get a chance to learn more about circuit driving techniques with three instructor driven familiarisation laps in a demonstration car (at Oxfordshire this is 2 laps in a Subaru Impreza Sti (or similar). You will not receive familiarisation laps at the Stafford, North Weald, Blyton Park or Llandow locations. After this comes the moment you have been waiting for as you take your place behind the wheel of either the Audi or the Aston Martin for 4-6 laps (approx 6 miles) of high speed excitement. You will then switch to the other car for another 4-6 laps (approx 6 miles). At the Stafford location spectators will receive a 4x4 off-road passenger ride. At Prestwold your experience will include an exciting 4x4 off-road passenger ride. At the end of your day you will also receive an Individual Driving Certificate and Assessment from the instructor. The whole experience lasts approximately one hour and a half.
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. Selected dates available throughout the year. This experience is only available at Heyford Park on Saturdays. The Lydden Hill Race Circuit is available on Fridays and Saturdays, however there will be a £20 surcharge for Saturday dates. At Dunsfold Airfield, the Southern Dunsfold Track is available at no extra cost Monday-Friday or for a supplement of £25 on weekends, or you may upgrade to the main track for a supplement of £25 Monday-Friday and £50 on weekends. At Stafford this experience is available on Wednesdays and Friday - Sunday. Drivers shorter than 5'0” or taller than 6'6” and/or weighing more than 16 stone may have some difficulty being accommodated. Participants must be 18 or over, apart from at Heyford Park and Stafford where they must be 17 or over, and must have a full UK driving licence which they have held for at least a year. At most locations you will have the option of buying a collision damage waiver, for an additional charge per car, this charge will vary depending on location. Please note Crail and Grampian require a surcharge of £25 and operate on weekends only. At the Oxfordshire and Yorkshire locations a maximum of two spectators may attend free of charge (additional spectators may be pre-booked for an additional fee). Dunsfold weekday upgrade is £20 and the Dunsfold weekend Upgrade is £40. Spectators must be aged 11 years or over. Spectators aged 11-16 years must be accompanied by a spectating adult.
