Under expert tuition you will be able to take the controls and discover the freedom of flying, with the aircraft responding to your lightest touch. You won't need to worry about take-off and landing, as this is carried out by the pilot. This is the perfect gift for those who crave an idyllic bird's eye view, love to be airborne and like to put their co-ordination skills to the test.
Your 30 minute flying lesson begins with a pre-flight safety briefing with your instructor, where you will learn the thrilling effects of an aircraft's controls and your role during this trial flying lesson. Then it's time for your 'walk round' to see the main control surfaces of the aircraft. Your instructor will take-off and demonstrate some basic maneuvers, before passing the controls over to you. Your 30 minute lesson includes take-off and landing times.

When I was a kid one of my dreams was to become a pilot...
When I was a kid one of my dreams was to become a pilot and experiencing this, even if it was only for a short time, was one of the best things I have done in my life. When I arrived, the little boy inside me came out and I was genuinely so excited that I was actually going to be flying a plane! The lady at reception was ever so friendly from the moment I arrived and when I left. Before we got started, my instructor Ian asked me to help him re-fuel the plane which was interesting because I didn’t know the fuel tank for planes was in the wings! After re-fuelling, we boarded the plane and Ian explained the basic functions (believe me, there are a lot!) and then we took off for what was an amazing experience! During the flight we flew over the legendary Silverstone race track amongst all the other scenic views we had. I was fortunate enough to go on a sunny day so the whole thing was worth every second. The turbulence did scare me a few times but the excitement I had didn’t even let this phase me! Overall, I had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves a thrilling experience.
