Experience an insight into a bygone age of aviation. Your flying experience will last 15 minutes during which you will be given the opportunity to take the controls and have a go at flying this marvellous machine. This tremendously nostalgic experience is the only way to get an appreciation of the feeling of speed and freedom from flying one of these classic aircraft.
After a briefing on the principles of aviation it's time to don your goggles and flying jacket for a 15 minute flight of a lifetime. All flights are taken by expert pilots who are experienced instructors and all aircraft have dual controls. You will be allowed to fly the plane secure in the knowledge that you have expert assistance.
Your flight voucher is valid for 10 months. At the Gloucestershire location, flights are on weekdays and run all year round except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. At the West Sussex location, flights operate on Sundays only most of the year round - please enquire upon booking regarding winter flight availability. At the Kent and Northamptonshire locations, flights operate from the beginning of April to the end of October on selected days - please enquire upon booking. There is no minimum age requirement but you must be at least 4'11" tall. The maximum weight is 16 stone. You should be agile as embarking and disembarking is difficult and requires flexibility. Please be advised this experience may not be suitable for persons who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart disease.
