My House History Portfolio

This interesting made to order portfolio presents historical Ordnance Survey map extracts centred around the home or area of your choice to build a personal and fascinating document. The OS maps date from around 1841 through to the 1960's with the maps being revised between 3 and 5 times during this period giving you a wonderful insight into the changes that have occurred over the years.

Your personal portfolio will contain multiple extracts illustrating the different editions of the OS maps. The average portfolio contains 7 historical map extracts at two different scales: 1:2,500 and 1:10,560.

Your historical maps come complete with a legend and key to aid interpretation and in addition your portfolio will also contain a full colour aerial photograph at a 1:2,500 scale taken around the year 2000 with a full colour extract from the current OS Landranger map presented at a 1:50,000 scale. Both of these will again be centralised around you chosen location.

Your personalised portfolio creates a unique document tracing all of the geographical changes that have taken place over the last 150 years surrounding your home and local community.

Your portfolio is presented in an attractive high quality storage case which allows for the safe removal and replacement of pages without the risk of damage and also allows you to insert additional pages easily and safely. The pack also contains expert advice on how to explore the origins of your house even further.
