Windsurfing is soaring in popularity at the moment and is becoming one of the most exciting, vibrant, challenging and exhilarating sports around and above all, it’s pretty darn cool!
With professional guidance you’ll be shown all the techniques that are needed combining a blend of skill, power and grace. Feel the water beneath your feet and the wind in your sails as you cruise across the surface of the lake...hopefully anyway!

Arrive at the venue at 9:30 AM for a briefing on safety, equipment and technique basics. The supplier will provide tuition and all the equipment required for you to undertake the course. Then it's time to kit you both up with a wetsuit and a board each, and down to the lake to place your feet on the board and your hands on the boom. While finding your balance, you'll also cover the basics of sailing across the wind and turning (tacking) around in this introductory course. The time will fly by as you progress toward the course end at 1:30 PM.

The gift voucher is valid for ten months for one person. All courses are booked for the specified dates and are non-transferable. Please provide appropriate footwear, such as old trainers. The minimum age is 16. There are no weight or height restrictions. You may cancel the booking at any time up to 8 weeks prior to the course start date by giving written notice to the supplier. All courses are weather dependent and subject to availability. Please be aware that windsurfing/surfing are potentially dangerous and that the course is undertaken entirely at your own risk.
